She keeps the secrets in her eyes
She wraps the truth inside her lies
Just when I can't take what she's done to me
She comes to me and leads me back to paradise

She's so hard to hold but I can't let go

I'm a house of cards in a hurricane
A reckless ride in the pouring rain
She cuts me and the pain is all I wanna feel

She'll dance away just like a child
She drives me crazy, drives me wild
But I'm helpless when she smiles
Oh, when she smiles, she smiles..

Many a times I had wish I could tear down this porcelain exterior.
One where I always put on a smile..
assuring that my state of heart hasn't been any better.
When every part of me just wants to crumble..
Beneath all the strong fronts, I hurt just like any other girl would.
I need someone to hug and lean on.. to have support acknowledged.
To cry in arms of a good friend and speak insensibly.
Have the comfort of knowing you're not alone in this..
And allow them to lift your spirits up and tell you..
"So what if things aren't gonna be okay?
I'll be here.. sticking through thick and thin with you."
I want that.. but for someone as unimportant to anybody else,
it's just wishful thinking on my part I suppose..

Rong Xin had to go back to school to finish up Colour Theory so yeah..
need to hold back our outing for a tad bit longer.
Ant went online in the morning to ask about my WIP (work in progress) for CT.
That's when I realized I lost my Toshiba thumbdrive. D;
You can only imagine how upset I was..
All my assignment infos are in there..
and with that, I can't meet my WIP deadline as well.
Sighs.. oh well.
I'll hold you on my jap buffet during the hols, Ant!
Oh and thanks for the confidence boost too!
One thing that managed to make me a little less sad..

Salmon Egg Maki + Sweet Beancurd Udon +
Apple Crumble + German Cheesecake = Deliciously Satisfying.
Got new flip flops, a new LBD novel.
My mom sure has her ways of cheering me up.
But somehow, that niggling thought just wouldn't want to shake off..
Yeah, annoying it was. D;

Anyhow, I bumped into Lea and her mom while grocery shopping for baking stuffs.
Yup, she was there for the same purpose too. :D
Catch up a little before segregating to get our respective ingredients.
It was great seeing you again huns! x

Ed called back around 8pm to say he's coming back. (:
It's a good thing since I miss him being around at home..
Even when he teases and bullies me, I know he missed me too.

Will tell you how I incurred that bruise later in my post. :P

Mich, my twin was down with food poisoning (the poor dear D;)
so she couldn't make it to school.
Which means I would have to complete what is left for our Visual Audio assignment.
And when class started at 9am, I just came out of the showers.
Received her text. Stood there, jaw dropped.
And when the thought finally sank in, I hurried myself to get to school PRONTO.

Reached school an hour late, went to get a cd @ College Book Store
and raced towards Block M with every drip of energy left in me.
Only Mr Lim Sze Yang was there and he didn't mark me late.. Yay!
So I swiftly find myself an available Mac comp
and quickly edited in the music and creds before the clock strikes noon.
Guess what? I did it! :D
It felt like I had done most of the clip but heck, it's over and done with! hees
Having mine done, I went over to help Rong Xin with her clip's synopsis.
Then my silly classmates were giggling over the word, synopsis. :D (inside joke)
I think it was when I left the Mac lab, I lost my thumbdrive..
Okay. I shall not brood about it anymore. ):

Joel, Jun Wei, Rong Xin & I took a train back to CWP to watch a movie.
We had Pasta Mania for lunch.
Note to self, not to EVER order that dory fish pasta dish.
They give away chilli oil like it's FOC.. ack! D:
J's lagsana wasn't there yet so the rest of us went up first.
J came later with a mix of sweet & salty popcorn (my fav!) and fizzy drinks. :D

Journey to the Center of the Earth was AMAZINGGG!
I love love love that mine track ride! ♥ :D
I was so indulged in the movie I was moving along with the ride!
Absolutely 3D worthy.

And and the part..
Hannah : I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut you loose.
Trevor : What? No no no! [ as he hangs in mid air ]
*string snips as he JUST touch the ground*
Man, we laughed SOOO hard. :D

The graphics were breath taking, the effects were stunning.
Full on action pack drama & thrills!
Though it seem to have ended quicker than we have expected..
But still a movie you definitely would NOT want to miss! (:

Bored we were.
So we just randomly walked around the complex.
Walked in a drizzle, sending out a few pokes before our goodbyes.
It was one of those days when I managed to beat the peak hour traffic.
Boy, was I glad for that. (:

I didn't have school that day so I was practice doing it the entire day.
So I reckon the bruise didn't really subside from the previous day.

I honestly thought I was going to late for drawing lesson AGAIN.
But I wasn't. Wheee! :D
While I was walking to school, I bumped into Hui Yu.
So we did some chit chat along the way to Block Q
and then J joined us at the escalator up Block A. (:

Before going to school.

After class ended.

Mr Tay forced me to shade. D;
Shading seems to be quite a task for me.
Easy for many others but, just not me. :/
We sat outside the room after class ended and it was mad rush.
Many thanks to J & JW for helping with my shading! (:
P.S : Yoshi Bear was in the class when we were outside!
Just a random fact I wanted to add. lol

I knew I had done better..
I must not let alphabets mess with my mind and affect my capability.
Must pwnz for Studio Project! (:

While Rong Xin went to get Mr Tay's approval,
Joel, Jun Wei & I went to our secret hideout to practice dance.
That's when they taught me the baby freeze.
No, I didn't believe I could do it at all.
But with the encouragement the guys were giving me,
I gave it a try.

Fell countless times, shoulder hitting against the hard concrete.
Went back into position and tried it again.
I was persistent to get it right before heading off from school..
Afraid and uncomfortable of placing my head against the ground,
J cushioned my head as I lifted myself with all the
upper body strength I could muster.
I almost got it and not a second too long, I fell flat.

But after doing it a couple more times, I actually did it!
I can do a baby freeze! (:
Joel! Jun Wei! Thanks a million for coaching me!
You guys were being so awesome and patient.
Teach me how to do the head stand, hand stand,
shoulder freeze and air freeze next time okay! :D
Oh btw, you should check out Jun Wei do the air freeze.
Coolness at its maximus!

When Rong Xin and Dom dom joined us,
off we go to Sembawang's Sun Plaza!
We still stick to our weekly "Every Tuesdays is Waffles Day!". :D
If we keep this on, we're gonna turn fat.. but at least we have each other right? lol

Chocolate Chip Waffles + Rum & Raisin + Chocolate Fudge = BURP.
If that wasn't enough, Rong Xin got herself a Durian Egg Roll
and a spring roll for myself. :X
After our heavy lunch, we walked over to Jun Wei's house.
Dom played Halo3 on Jun Wei's Xbox from 5 - 10pm.
I kid you not my friend.
Jun Wei helped Rong Xin & I do our scans while we did a long period of resting.
When it was done, we all squeezed on his bed to watch Camp Rock.

We were plaiting Dom's hair while he devotes his full attention to Halo3, obvs. :P

It was dinner time so we all went out to the living room and geez!
We did not expect a spread awaiting us. :O
There was homecooked curry with cabbage & tou fu pok,
fried potato covered in sweet sauce & veg (my fav dish!),
braised chicken & tofu crisp!
We did discuss about packing it home stealthy without Jun Wei knowing.
'Cause it was just too damn good! :D
We should crash Jun Wei's house more often aye! hahas.

What's left of dinner when we cleaned up all the dishes. :D

Mocking at people washing the dishes. Tsk! :P

Rong Xin and I slipped through the sliding door
and managed to hop on the train back to Woodlands that was about to go off.
Talk about thrills aye! :D
When I was waiting at the 950 bus, I saw Ed!
We just look at each other and smiled..
I understood how he felt.. we were both worned out.
And we parted ways for home.
In a nutshell, it was a good day spent with my mates! (:

Monday, 4th August 2008

Went to school extra early to hand in my Design Fundamentals finals.
Met up with Hwee Lee and Yi Xiong to meet up with Ms Wendy.
Got back our class' final pieces from her.
Went down to the animation studio to get it sorted out.
Head to the Koufu for a quickie lunch before heading for Colour Theory @ 1pm.

I was told by Ms Irene that I don't have to redo so.. Yay!
Initially I was appalled but yeah, rejoice in the fact that
I have spare time on hand!
It was 3pm and the peeps were planning for Hui Tian's surprise.
Joei was faking she has a tummyache in the toilet to hold Hui Tian up
while we do the preparations for the cake.
When she came down, she told us that she kinda expected it already. :P
But yes, a surprise nevertheless!

Make a wish.

Blow out the candles.

Cut the cake and SHAZAAAM!
You turn 17. (:

How Jarryl chews on his nugget. XD

Went home to rush my drawing assignment.
Took up the entire night..
Yup, no sleep till the next day.
Rong Xin & I were webcamming to check out our progress.
Meantime, we join forces to disturb Jun Wei, who was already in dreamland. :D
My two midnight muggers end up sleeping while I sketch through the night.
Jun Wei woke up around 5am and yes, we gave calls to Rong Xin to wake her up. lol
Gotta love all these. x

Ed was feeling unwell and wanted ice cream so
Momsie bought back a tub of Bulla Neapolitan.

Yumz.

Played a few rounds of badminton with Eugene.
Did some running to rid off some clingy fats.
Haven't felt so.. free in the longest time.

Off to do my Banana Macadamia Cheesecake now! (:
