The heart has reasons that reason does not know. ♥

I was actually intending to make Lemon Bars
and was searching for recipes online and I fell upon this.
So I bumped it up a notch and decided to make Lemon Cheesecake Bars instead. (:

Did this in the early afternoon on Tuesday.

The crust mix.

Cream swirls.

While I was trying to wash up the cooking utensils,
the mozzies in the kitchen insisted on making me do a little exercise.
Jogged on the spot so the mozzies would budged but they kept coming back. :/
My Mommy was wearing jeans then and after applying some aloe vera gel
on my legs where the bites are at,
she offered to help me clean up the remaining utensils. (:
As for me, I exited the kitchen as fast as I could. lol

My brothers were eager to have them as desserts after dinner
so I took it out of the refrigerator after about, approximately 2 hours.
Knife down, filling starts to spill out. ):

This time, I stashed 'em into the freezer to chill overnight.
Had them as a sweet treat after lunch the following day and they tasted so good!
Very zesty and crumbly as a whole.
I love how it calls for rolled oats as the crust!
Thought it was a little too sweet for my liking though.
So you might want to tone down on the sugar for the cream cheese filling. (:

I've posted my modified recipe @

Click here for my entry. (:

Baby sent over some extremely adorable hammy pictures a few days ago.

Awww.. the little fella is camera shy.
*pat pat* (:

Hi Danny Boy! :D

Ahhh.. such cute beady, papaya seeds sized eyes!

I love this picture. (:

Pepperika and Danny Boy looks trés cute together. ♥

Let's hope the Mas Selamat situation would be resolved asap.
The traffic and people jam at the causeway is unimaginable.
School's commencing soon and.. I want to attend the class bbq on the 12th! D:

Always. Have had always.
We all need kind words to get through the day.
The week maybe.
Then the weight of those words slowly fade away
and you wish for more new words to come in.
